Cultural program as an addition to the symbiosis of music and sport

Along with the sports and music part of the festival, don’t forget the cultural segment which is bigger then ever. Not only will you be able to watch the performances of world-class extreme sport athletes and dance along to great names from the musical world, every day you’ll have the chance to show your artistic side.

The entire cultural program officially begins on July 15th, Friday, with an exhibition at the well-known Kazamat gallery, where we will at last officially start off this year’s Pannonian Challenge. The writers who will be presenting their works are: Slaven Kosanović Lunar, Ivo Kosanović, Miro Petković Modul, Goran Rakić, Ivan Sajtos, Srđan Toth and Vedran Bjelobradić. The rest of the exhibition was curated by the team from the Academy of Arts in Osijek, including: Jasmin Mišković, Martina Kovačević, Ena Janković, Marin Meković, Vinko Vidmar and Mario Skender Sob. The start of the event is at 8PM, and can be seen every day after Friday at the festival from 10AM to 1PM.

What exactly does our cultural segment offer? The young team of artists from the Academy of Arts in Osijek prepared numerous surprises that you just have to try out! Talented artists will be leading the Sculptor’s colony, showing you how to create sculptures of all sizes. Joining them will be their colleagues with two performances: „Mjesečina“ (‘Moonlight’) and „Putovanje u središte sebe“ (‘Journey to the Center of Yourself’) that you do not want to miss out on. We’ve prepared a little something for those who are into hip-hop culture their entire lives: the Graffiti Workshop, DJ Workshop, MC Workshop and Beatbox Workshop will undoubtedly impress you, showing you yet another side of art.

Of course, we haven’t forgotten about our playful and cheerful youngsters here at Pannonian. We’ve prepared the Small Actor’s Course for our youngest, lead by actress Ana Marija Jurišić, while our little artists can try out our Children’s Sculpture Workshop lead by Ena Janković and Martina Kovačević.
